old friends?

OLD FRIENDS !
Two electrician friends were working
perched on a electric pole. Suddenly
one said to the other,"James you are
my dearest friend."
"Yes, I am Jhonie."
"Would you do me a favour.Would you
hold this wire for a second for me."
" Ah ! Why not Jhonie, you are my old pal,"
and saying thus James held the wire.
After a second Jhonie took back the
wire from James and resumed his
working.A little confused, James
asked," Why did you suddenly refer
to our friendship?" "Because I wanted
to ascertain as to which of the two wires
was carrying 2000 volts!"
